Crawley Will Not Be Defeatist At Wrexham Lindsey

Crawley will not be 'defeatist' at Wrexham - Lindsey

Crawley Town boss John Yems is looking for a reaction from his players as they head to Wrexham in the FA Cup first round on Sunday.

The Reds were beaten 3-1 at home by Harrogate Town in the FA Cup last season and Yems is keen to avoid a repeat of that performance.

Speaking to the club's website, Yems said: "We can't be defeatist about it. We have to go there and give it our best shot. We know it's going to be a tough game, but we're confident we can get a result."

Crawley go into the game in good form, having won their last two League Two matches. But they will face a tough test against a Wrexham side who are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions.

Wrexham are also in good form, having won their last two National League matches. They will be looking to cause an upset against Crawley and reach the second round of the FA Cup for the first time since 2013.

The match will be played at the Racecourse Ground, which has a capacity of over 10,000. Kick-off is at 12:45pm.
